LIVEFORGRIFF begins…

We had no idea…

Three words, uttered by my sister, that very day, in her deepest crushing, would take flight. LIVEFORGRIFF would be our anthem... of HOPE AND PURPOSE, for the unthinkable days ahead of us… the days after GRIFF WAS GONE. 

The beautiful unexpected thing about raw brokenness, is the pure light that seeps through. ‘New eyes’ to see, what you never imagined to find in your worst fears. Suddenly you are fully awake! Your grip on ‘this life’, loosens. It’s NEW AIR. And finally, for real, GOD IS IN CONTROL. 

God wanted Griff with HIM. That was done. What about us? How would Griff’s family, his friends, his brothers, do life with out that BOY? How do we do life without the crazy joy & LOVE of GRIFF?

Like a cool breeze blowing in, GOD MOVED. He lead our hearts toward the LIGHT and HOPE of healing. To LIVEFORGRIFF. 

And just like that, we began… Death would not defeat us. We would live in the peace that Jesus promises. Griff was gone from this life, but the extraordinary  love and light of Griff would FLOW. It would CHANGE us. HOW WE LOVE, HOW WE LIVE AND HOW WE SEE HEAVEN. My sister would say to Griff, “be a light to everyone you meet”. She would say this to Griff as a little boy, she never stopped saying those words, all his life, “BE A LIGHT TO OTHERS GRIFF!’ Only GOD knew the LIGHT Griff would become. For all who love him, and strangers who hear of him now. GRIFF IS LIGHTING UP LIVES… FOR GOD, for LOVE AND FOR THE PERFECT LIFE AHEAD OF US!

LIVE FOR GRIFF is a celebration. It’s a movement that has energy! GRIFF’S LIFE inspired it, but, God Moves it! Together… we keep the light on and love going BIG.
